Senior Residential Support Worker - Scotland​

We are a child care organisation providing care, education, and therapy services to young people who have experienced trauma in their lives resulting in emotional and behavioural difficulties. New Reflexions Children’s Residential Service offers both short & long-term, therapeutic placements for young people who need support

We currently have vacancies within the Oban, Argyll and Bute, and Fort William areas.

Up to £31,108 per annum depending on experience and qualifications, Senior applicants must either have achieved or be nearing completion of the SVQ level 3/Level 3 Qualification in Residential Childcare or equivalent.

Rota patterns are currently 4 days on and 8 days off, sleeping in duties are required and some on call support duties may also be required.

As an organisation we are currently expanding and experiencing an exciting period of growth and therefore require more enthusiastic individuals to join our team as a Senior Residential Care Worker.

Requirements

• Full UK manual driving Licence;
• Access to your own transport;
• Relevant Qualification
• Passionate about helping children;
• Keen interest in outdoor education is also an advantage as we encourage our young people to be actively involved in the outdoors;
• The post holder has the responsibility to adhere to our Safeguarding and Child Protection Procedure.
