Residential Support Worker - Response Services

New Reflexions are a childcare organisation providing an integrated service to young people who have experienced trauma in their lives. We believe that if it is not acceptable for our own children it is not acceptable for any child.

New Reflexions are a child care organisation providing care, education, and therapy services to young people who have experienced trauma in their lives resulting in emotional and behavioural difficulties.

Young people are referred to the Cumbria Response service often in challenging circumstances; where the young person’s current placement is unable to meet their needs, when they are placing themselves at risk.

We place a considerable emphasis on the opportunities for the enjoyment of life in the world around us. We see that the nurturing of this enjoyment can have a significant impact on the development of a child. Outdoor activities promote new, more positive experiences where children can experience a sense of achievement and over time replace their negative experiences with new positive ones.

We are currently looking to recruit Response Residential Care Workers based in Cumbria, within a commutable distance from Penrith, Kirkby Stephen, Morecambe, Preston, Lancaster/Lancashire, and Carlisle.

Up to £28,944 per annum; inclusive of sleeping in payments, with no qualification or previous experience required. This will increase upon completion of QCF Level 3 qualification.
